Almost done
This semester is almost over only 3 or 4 more weeks. I have made it into the BFA program as well. Things are going good if I can hang on.
We have been considering going to Disney Word for my birthday because I will get in free and the timing is good. I think Emily would love going there. Emily is doing good and getting in allot of trouble. she is stating to talk now I still cant understand her most of the time but she says I love pretty good.
Jennifer is doing good. She is teaching 7Th grade English at the same place. We are both looking forward to the holiday brakes.
I’m happy to hear things are still going well with school for both of you. Disney World sounds like fun. I wish i could hear Emily talk now. She was a little chatterer when you were here, but I couldn’t understand her. How could such a little sweetheart be getting into a lot of trouble?
Mom…because she is a girl. It just comes naturally.
Dan…I thought you were already in the BFA program? What program have you been working on this past semester?
I had to submit a portfolio for the BFA and they had to review it before I could get in. I was working on the portfolio this last semester and turned it about three weeks ago. About a week ago I finely was told that I was accepted into the program. The BFA requires 72 hours of art courses compared to 36 for BS in art. I can take any of the classes at any time, but I have to be accepted to graduate with a BFA. The spring of 2010 will be my last semester and I will graduate with the BFA if all goes well. The BFA will help me get a job at a junior college, or get into a MFA program. I will need to have a masters to teach at a college and the closest university with a MFA program is 3 or 4 hours away, so I plane to get a masters in art education which will make it posable to teach p – 12 grade, or at a junior college.
I bet Joe will want to go to Disney World with you!!

Kerry…yeah, not so much. I’ve mellowed out some in the last year or so, but not that much.
Did you make it through the semester Dan or is it still going?
